Summary: For the second year the Rotary Club of Alpharetta has committed our support as a Safe House Room Sponsor at the City of Refuge. These rooms provide a safe haven for victim of human trafficking. These rooms provide an immediate safe place for those rescue pending their decision to a long-tern recovery & restoration program. The metro Atlanta currently is #1 in the nation in the area of human trafficking with more than 12,000 transactions related to money for sex take place each month. Our partnership with the City of Refuge offers some relief for the victims.
