At the Friday, 1/30/2015, meeting of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta, Steve Stirling of MAP International was the guest speaker.  Brian King led the vocational spotlight by profiling member Karen Williams.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Steve Stirling, President of MAP International told the club an inspiring story of his background.  Born in South Korea, contracting polio and adopted at an early age, Steve earned a scholarship to Cornell University and became a successful executive in the pharmaceutical industry.  After hearing of MAP International, Steve felt it was his calling to serve as their president.  MAP International is a Christian health organization based in Atlanta that provides medicine to those in need around the world.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Brian King provided the club with some background about Karen Williams in the vocational spotlight for the week. We learned that Karen is an attorney at the Williams Firm and comes from a family of attorneys.  She also graduated from Emory University.
