At the Rotary Club of Alpharetta meeting on Friday, 10/17/2014, guest speaker Will Stolz discussed the cyclical trends of real estate development both nationally and in the Atlanta area.  President Karen Nolan recognized Lee Doernberg and Carlos Gutierrez for their contributions to the club, and Sidney Browning was sworn in as a new member to the club.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
In honor of World Food Day, Chef Doug Pruett prepared a breakfast for $1.25, which represents the amount that over a billion people throughout the world live on per day.  The breakfast consisted of rice and beans, eggs, and bread.

President Karen recognized Carlos Gutierrez and Lee Doernberg for their contributions to the club.  Carlos for his leadership with World Peace Day and World Food Day, and Lee for his leadership in the Fresh Market food donation program to North Fulton Community Charities. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Guest Speaker Will Stolz presented a chart of the bust and boom cycles of real estate development over the pat 50+ years.  He provided useful insight into some of the driving forces and challenges facing the current development trends.
