This Friday, the Rotary Continuum of Care committee presents our program, which focuses on four organizations that help people in situational homelessness find temporary shelter leading to a future home. Alpharetta Rotary has long supported The Drake House, Family Promise, Habitat for Humanity, and Homestretch.
Our speaker, Sadie Evans, started in Family Promise and now has a Habitat home. She will speak about her journey and service on the board at Homestretch. Beatrice Kibera, who was at Homestretch, will talk about her experience. Rotarian Krystal Brown, board member of The Drake House, will tell us about clients she has met and their need for stable housing. There are video presentations from Family Promise and Habitat for Humanity clients telling their stories.
