A Night of Communication and Networking at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corp Community Center, Thursday December 10th

Thank you to Rotarians Karen Nolan, Cookie Haynes, Roxann Dimon, Frank Payne, Rob Johns, and Doug Rhoades for their service to the adult students at the Kroc Center.  These students are striving beyond the odds to improve their lives.  During the last Rotary year our Club funded a grant to help with various educational tool, laptops batteries, ac cords, LCD projectors, calculators and the CBT-100 software (computer-based testing).   i.e. computer, visual aid, books for the adult education center.  We also committed to support a night of communication and networking with members of our club and community.

At the event the the students will be coached on how to effectively communicate in professional environments, job interviews, networking events, professional meetings, etc. During the second half of the session students will put these communication skills into action by greeting and holding brief conversations with professionals, like us.
