Winter magic is coming to Alpharetta!
The Rotary Club of Alpharetta is excited to bring our community together for a festive event the whole family can enjoy!
Ready to join the parade? Review the rules and regulations, then complete the application below.
Families, kids, school bands, dance troupes, youth clubs, civic groups, and sports teams.
- An application is required (see below)
- Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email
- The drop-off area will be Innovation Academy rear parking lot.
- Please do not hand out printed materials including flyers, brochures, promotional materials, or business cards along the parade route.
- Entries may include walkers, participants riding in or on approved vehicles or floats, riders on approved animals, or any combination of these.
- Political campaigning, candidate signage, campaign materials, and distribution of political literature are prohibited.
- All parade entries should reflect the festive spirit of the Alpharetta Winter Parade. Festive lighting, decorations, holiday-themed attire, or other seasonal elements are strongly encouraged for all entries, including floats, vehicles, and walking groups.

Parade Route
Parade Participation Guidelines
All participants will apply and be approved by the parade committee.
Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
Candy Distribution
Commercially wrapped candy is allowed to be handed to parade attendees.
Festive Attire
Fun Winter attire is highly encouraged – but Santa has the grand finale covered! To keep his arrival a special surprise, please don’t include anyone dressed as Santa or Mrs. Claus. This includes Santa and Mrs. Claus decorations, balloons, inflatables, banners, or signs.
No Confetti or Glitter
Let’s keep our city clean!
Supervision for Young Children
ALL CHILDREN UNDER SIX (6) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bring the Cheer
Music is strongly encouraged! Help us fill the streets of Alpharetta with festive sounds.
By participating, you consent to the use of any photographs taken in connection with the parade for future promotional purposes.

Application
Release of All Claims
This Release is executed in consideration of the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, permitting the undersigned to participate in any City of Alpharetta event or activity.
The undersigned acknowledges and understands the nature of City-sponsored activities and the potential risk of physical injury that may result from participation. In exchange for being allowed to participate, the undersigned, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, does hereby fully and forever release, discharge, and hold harmless the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, its officers, employees, servants, representatives, and agents, from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, suits, debts, expenses, judgments, or liabilities of any kind, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, in law or in equity, arising out of or in any way related to participation in any City of Alpharetta activity, from the beginning of time forward. The undersigned further declares that this Release is executed voluntarily and without reliance on any representation or statement made by the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, its officers, employees, or agents regarding the nature or extent of potential damages or liability. The undersigned acknowledges receipt of a copy of this Release prior to signing, and if signing in a representative capacity, affirms that he/she has the authority to do so and to bind such principal accordingly.
This Release shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. It constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements or understandings.
