At the Alpharetta Rotary Club meeting on Friday, 10/03/2014, Former Coach Vince Dooley of the Georgia Bulldogs was the guest speaker. Guest Joan O'Connell, the Development Director for Homestretch thanked the club for its past fundraising assistance and also updated the club on upcoming opportunities. Alpharetta Rotarian Jim Paine was recognized by President Karen Nolan and presented with a service pin.

President Karen Nolan donates personal care items to the City of Refuge to help women in their program.
Homestretch Director, Joan O'Connell provides an update to the club on some of the upcoming initiatives to help raise money for Homestretch. HomeStretch guides homeless working families with minor children in North Metro Atlanta toward increased self-reliance and stability by providing life-skills training, mentoring and supportive housing.
Coach Vince Dooley, the legendary Georgia Football Coach, recanted some of his most memorable stories of his coaching career.
